FDA investigates Abbott infant formula after reports of illness and one death

All of the cases are reported to have consumed powdered infant formula produced from Abbott Nutritions Sturgis, Michigan facility, the regulator adds. The infants were in Minnesota, Ohio and two were in Texas. The complaints were received between September 6 and December 18, 2021. The recalled items have been distributed in more than 30 countries.
