Ribena is a British brand of fruit-based uncarbonated and carbonated soft drink and fruit drink concentrate produced by GlaxoSmithKline. The original and most common variety contains real blackcurrant juice. The name derives from the botanical name Ribes, the genus to which the blackcurrant belongs.
