US-based food manufacturer Fairmont Foods has issued a recall of nearly 35,145lb of ready-to-eat (RTE) pork and beef gravy products as they may have been contaminated with extraneous materials, specifically clear pliable plastic.
According to the US Department of Agricultures Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS), the frozen, ready-to-eat pork and beef gravy items were produced on 2 May.
The products that are subject to recall include 45lb cases containing nine 5lb plastic bags of Popeyes
