Recently, a batch of 4 tonnes of live sea eel, worth 108, 000 yuan, was successfully exported to Japan on 27th July after receiving qualification from Zhuhai Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau. The fish was farmed and produced by Zhuhai Xinyuan Aquaculture Co., Ltd. , and its the first time that sea eel produced in Zhuhai has been exported to Japan, which also indicates that the aquatic product farmed in Zhuhai is officially recognized by Japanese market.
