2. Use an electric mixer to beat butter and sugar in a bowl until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs, 1 at a time, until just combined.
3. Stir in the pumpkin. Sift over the flour and mixed spice, and stir until combined. Fold in the buttermilk and pecans until combined. Spoon into the prepared pan. Bake for 1hr 10 mins or until a skewer inserted in the centre comes out clean (the top will crack slightly). Cool in the pan for 10 mins, then release the side of the pan and place on
