The figures, from SymphonyIRI, cover grocery outlets and show total soft drinks sales value was 6,728.5M in the 52 weeks to June 9, 2012 and 6,882.3M litres were sold.
Flavoured and fortified water saw the strongest value growth, up by 10.1% to 169.2M and up by 8.8% on volume to 244.3M litres.
Energy drinks were up 8% in value to 954.7M, and 10% in volume to 511M litres.
Cola and unflavoured water also saw value growth.
