year puts projected 2014 year-end stocks at 1.837 billion bushels or 14.5 per cent of projected total usage. This would be the highest year-end stocks/use ratio since 2005 (see chart at right). The 14.5 ratio is also pretty comparable to those of 2007-2009, years that saw corn prices near and even below $4.00 per bushel.
