On June 5, 2013, Chinas Ministry of Health (MOH) published a draft amendment to the National Food Safety Standard: Standard for Use of Food Additives. This proposal contains revisions to authorized food additives, maximum use levels, and food categories.
On June 6, 2013, the MOH published a food additive amendment in Ministry of Health Bulletin 2013 No.9. Revisions to food additive regulatory use levels and specification standards are found in the Annexes.
