A bill to permit malt beverages and beer to be sold in pliable pouches was passed by Connecticuts House of Representatives Wednesday, according to reports. Its now moving on to the Senate.
Connecticut is presently the only state that bans the popular packaging for these alcoholic drinks.
Frozen pouches of premixed cocktails and coolers have been so desired by consumers that theyve helped spirit sales outpace those of wine in supermarkets.
