UK-based supermarket chain Sainsbury's is offering Christmas card recycling at nearly 500 of its outlets in an attempt to help dispose the post-Christmas and holiday wastes.
The retailer will also make a donation to the Forest Stewardship Council based on card volumes collected until 15 January 2013.
Sainsbury's is also providing recycling banks at around 300 outlets for wastes such as cardboard, recycling wrapping paper, aluminum, clothing, glass and plastic, reported The Grocer.
